Energy
Introduction
Every day, our world needs more energy. An already increasing worldwide consumption is fuelled by an even faster growing population and improved standards of living – especially in emerging economies. To sustain itself, the world needs to thrive on a healthy appetite of everything that we can produce: oils and natural energy like wind and solar. At V P Udyog Ltd., our energy segment is in tandem with our belief that we are an environmentally responsible company, and want to meet the world’s increasing demand for energy, wisely. The global energy landscape is fast-changing and we are committed to finding and developing conventional and new sources of oil and gas.

Biological Oils
Introduction
Around the world countries are focusing on diversifying their energy source and biofuels are emerging as a key focus area. Biofuels are basically fuels derived from biowaste or biomass these include edible sugars and starches, inedible plant materials and algae and other microbes. Unlike fossil fuels, biofuels are renewable sources of energy or their sources can be re-grown. They also emit lower carbon, making them a green and planet-friendly source of energy. As one the cleanest and most abundant natural resources, biogas is easier to transport and thus has a wider market if converted to a liquid form. However, the conversion of biomass into liquid energy (such as ethanol from sugar or biofuel from treatment) is a great challenge. Some agri-products that have are speedily becoming good sources of energy are:
- Corn (USA)
- Sugarcane (Brazil
- Sugar beet & Wheat (Europe)
- Sorghum (China)
- Palm Oil (Malaysia & Indonesia)
- Jatropha (India)
Mainly an oligopoly, India is a highly fragmented but stable and growing market for biofuels. We operate in the country with an aim to develop the full spectrum of natural gas resources. Even as we identify ideal biomass stocks that are sustainable and scalable, work on technology that easily converts biomass into biofuels – our strength lies in partnering with a leading provider of technical oils. It drives our widenetwork of sourcing offices in Indonesia, Malaysia and India helps us cater to a wide-variety of client specifications and meet their expectations.
Types of Biological oils:
- Crude glycerin, 80%
- Pharmaglycerin, 99%
- Fatty Acids
- Acid Oils
- Cashew Nut Shell Liquid
- Fatty Acid Ethyl Ester (FAEE)
- Used Cooking Oil (UCO)
- Biodiesel
- Bio alcohols
